A phased, precision-engineered approach to building a world-class B2B digital platform — from CMS foundation to fully headless eCommerce, powered by Nishtech's proprietary SiteFactory.
DwyerOmega has the brands, the product depth, and the customer relationships to compete at the highest level in B2B digital commerce. What's missing is the platform infrastructure to unlock it. Here's what we heard — and what we're solving for.
The current site is HTML-built with minimal SmartEdit capability inside Hybris. Marketing cannot self-serve content, build brand pages, run campaigns, or launch products without dev involvement. Every initiative hits a platform ceiling.
20+ brands — each with real equity, heritage, and customer loyalty — are represented by nothing more than a logo on a product page. Clicking some brand logos takes users to entirely different domains, destroying trust and experience continuity.
SAP Hybris is on-premise and not yet headless-capable. A prior attempt at a CMS implementation was compromised because of this — forcing half-baked architecture decisions that were ultimately abandoned. The same mistake cannot happen again.
The internal team is ready to migrate brand content, products, and experiences — but there's nowhere to migrate them to. Without templates, components, and a scalable infrastructure, growth through brand acquisition cannot translate to digital growth.
Nishtech's philosophy is practical modernization — not reckless lift-and-shift. We break the transformation into clear, deliverable releases. Each release stands on its own, generates immediate business value, and builds the foundation for what comes next.
Start with the content and experience infrastructure — SitecoreAI, all page templates, and the full component library. Deliver a fully functioning site before touching commerce.
While Release 1 is live, integrate Hybris in headless mode — building the OCC connector, activating live pricing, and enabling the full eCommerce experience without disrupting what's already working.
Release 3 unlocks the real long-term value: Nishtech's SiteFactory with N-Level Theming Engine, enabling DwyerOmega to deploy brand sites at scale — each with a unique design system, all sharing the same powerful infrastructure.
The Discovery Engagement first: Before any build begins, Nishtech proposes a 4-week paid Discovery & Architecture phase. Deliverables include the technical architecture document, Akeneo attribute mapping, integration specifications, and a confirmed phased SOW — giving DwyerOmega a clear plan to present for budget approval, and protecting both teams from building in the dark.
Four releases, sequenced to deliver business value quickly while building toward a long-term competitive advantage that no competitor can easily replicate.
The platform infrastructure DwyerOmega needs to operate like a modern B2B digital business. Every page type, every component, and the full Akeneo integration — live and self-serviceable by the marketing team before any commerce integration begins.
Release 1 stands completely on its own. DwyerOmega's website relaunches on SitecoreAI with all content pages, brand pages, resource library, and product pages (spec and document data from Akeneo) fully operational. The "Add to Cart" path is a clean URL redirect to the existing Hybris cart — no commerce integration needed in this phase.
Each template is a configurable module system — not a fixed layout. Components can be placed, reordered, and customized through Sitecore Pages by the marketing team without developer involvement. One build, infinite configurations.
The component library is the backbone of the SiteFactory approach. Every component is designed to be reused across templates, and configurable by the marketing team in Sitecore Pages without developer involvement. New page types can be assembled from the existing library without custom development.
Release 2 connects the Release 1 CMS experience to a headless-upgraded SAP Hybris. This delivers a fully unified content + commerce platform — all managed through Sitecore, with Hybris powering the cart, checkout, and B2B account layer behind the scenes.
A clean, non-overlapping boundary. Sitecore owns everything up to and including the product page and Add to Cart action. Hybris owns the cart, checkout, authentication, and account management — untouched.
SAP Hybris migrated to headless-capable version. OCC (Omni Commerce Connect) REST APIs enabled and configured. Nishtech provides integration requirements document to IT team during Release 1. Estimated: 3–6 months, running in parallel.
Nishtech builds or integrates the Sitecore ↔ Hybris OCC connector. Product catalog data, B2B pricing (contract + list), real-time inventory availability, and cart session handoff are all wired through this connector. The connector architecture is designed so swapping Hybris later is a configuration change, not a rebuild.
All Release 1 templates activate live Hybris data. PDPs show real pricing and availability. PLPs display stock status. Cart handoff is a seamless URL transition to Hybris — invisible to the customer. DwyerOmega now has a fully unified content + commerce digital platform.
What works in Release 1 without the Hybris upgrade: All 14 templates are fully functional. Akeneo provides complete spec data, documents, and images. Product pages show all technical content. The "Add to Cart" and pricing are rendered as clean Hybris URL redirects. When Release 2 activates, no template rework is required — data simply connects to the components already built and waiting.
Release 3 delivers DwyerOmega's long-term competitive moat — the ability to deploy brand sites at scale. Powered by Nishtech's proprietary N-Level Theming Engine, each brand site inherits the shared platform while expressing a fully unique design system. Build once. Deploy for any brand, any market.
Our proprietary SiteFactory architecture supports an unlimited number of theming levels. Each level inherits everything from its parent and overrides only what's unique to that brand or market. This is not multi-site management — it's a scalable brand deployment system built into the platform architecture from day one.
Every brand in DwyerOmega's portfolio gets a fully functional, uniquely designed digital home — without rebuilding the platform from scratch each time. The internal team deploys each brand site by configuring a new L2 theme. Nishtech's SiteFactory handles the rest.
With SiteFactory live, DwyerOmega's internal team becomes the engine for brand migration — not Nishtech. The templates, components, and base design system are all in place. Adding a brand to the platform is a content and theming operation, not a development project.
Not every digital agency can run this play. The intersection of B2B manufacturing, headless Sitecore, complex PIM integration, and multi-brand SiteFactory architecture is where Nishtech lives.
We don't need to learn how B2B industrial manufacturers operate — we've been delivering digital transformation for this vertical for years. The buyer personas, the catalog complexity, the channel dynamics, the Hybris + PIM + CMS stack — all familiar ground.
Nishtech has been a Sitecore Gold Partner for 15+ years across multiple platform generations — XP, XM, and now SitecoreAI. With 250+ solutions deployed and 14 XM Cloud Certified Developers, we know where implementations succeed and where they fail. Our SiteFactory is built from that experience.
Sitecore + SAP Hybris + Akeneo PIM is not a simple integration stack. We've designed the architecture to keep systems cleanly decoupled, make the Hybris upgrade a parallel workstream rather than a project blocker, and ensure Release 1 delivers real value before a single API call is made to Hybris.
This is not a generic Sitecore multi-site setup. Nishtech's SiteFactory architecture and N-Level Theming Engine are proprietary IP — built and refined specifically to support the multi-brand, multi-market deployment model that DwyerOmega needs for the next decade of growth.
DwyerOmega will work with senior Nishtech leadership throughout — not handed off to a junior team after the sale. We're a boutique by design. That means accountability, continuity, and a partner relationship that gets stronger over time, not weaker.
Three phases. Each stands on its own. Phase 1 combines Discovery and the full CMS Foundation — structured to stay within the single-approver budget threshold. Phase 1 Discovery SOW can be signed independently to start immediately.
